Can’t Get Enough Pablo Sandoval?

The offseason is slowly starting to come to an end. We are a month away from Spring Training. Some players are still trying to get themselves in good shape for this 2011 season. Giants third baseman Pablo Sandoval has been on a mission to get himself in good shape and shed some pounds.

SF Giants Rumors was able to get an Exclusive Pablo Sandoval Video. It’s of the Kung Fu Panda working out. If you still can’t get enough Sandoval, then you came to the right place!

Pablo was kind enough to do a Q&A with the SF Giants Rumors between workouts. Here is the link…. I hope you enjoy it!

Giants Agree With Three, Sandoval Video

The San Francisco Giants have came to an agreement with Cody Ross, Ramon Ramirez, and Jonathan Sanchez. Which means they avoid arbitration. The Cody Ross agreement was for 1 year, $6.3 million. Ramirez and Sanchez deals haven’t been disclosed as of yet.

I was able to get a SF Giants Rumors Pablo Sandoval Exclusive Video. It’s him working out, and you can tell he’s shed some pounds. You can check it out at SF Giants Rumors, and be sure to leave a comment on any posts you have an opinion about. Giants fans love to reply back to each other and get the baseball excitment going as spring training is getting closer.

Must Have Book For Hardcore Giants Fans!

Hey Giants fans or just any baseball fans that love the history of baseball. I recently have been asked to review a book called Giants Past & Present. It’s a must have book for Giants fans and really any baseball fan that loves the game! It has history from the New York Giants to the San Francisco Giants. Breaks down, owners, players and general managers. It has a ton of cool pictures of your favorite Giants.

The author of the book Dan Fost was kind enough to do a Q&A with me. The Q&A is posted at SF Giants Rumors. The title is “Q&A With Dan Fost – Author Of Giants Past & Present, Win A Copy!“. That’s right, win a copy is part of the title. All you have to do is go to that post of the Q&A, and leave a comment. Tell us who was your favorite Giant player of the past and why? Then you can have a chance to win an autographed book. It’s as simple as that. If you don’t win. You can still purchase the book at www.giantspastandpresent.com.

SF Giants 2010 Opener

Opening Day has come and gone. The Giants are currently on pace to win 162 games. That will more than likely not happen, because we do have Barry Zito pitching about 29 of those games. Which means the Giants will probably go 133-29 this year.  I’m only kidding….

The Giants looked great last night in the opener. Tim Lincecum was awesome and shined like a bright star in space. I’m just messing around with the star comment, but he did look really good. He went 7 strong innings and only allowed 4 hits. He didn’t give up any runs or walks. His velocity was around 92-95mph, so that quiet down some of the Lincecum haters that said he wasn’t going to be the same pitcher.

I have more insights on the SF Giants Rumors – 2010 Season Opener Recap. Check it out and leave your comments there. You can see how Mark DeRosa and Aubrey Huff did in their Giants debut.

SF Giants Rumors – Zito Has Rust, Posey Back on a Bus

The Giants have three more games to go before they season starts. Last night Barry Zito got lit up by his former team the Oakland Athletics. I didn’t care if the Giants won or lost. The only thing I wanted out of that game was for Zito to pitch a decent game. Now that he got rocked. I’m sure his head isn’t right, and he won’t be as confident as he takes the mound in Houston.

Buster Posey is more than likely to start the season in Fresno. It hasn’t been announced as of yet, but he would lose a lot of AB’s at the start of the season if he made the 25 man roster. The Posey era is on hold for now.

Posey, Bumgarner – Top 50 Prospects

The Giants have two prospects that made the MLB.com’s top 50 prospects. The two players are Buster Posey and Maddison Bumgarner. Posey was ranked 4th and Bumgarner was ranked #10. The sad thing is we only had 2 of the top 50, but at least our two were in the top ten.

A lot of Giants fans are excited to see what these two guys can do. They did both play in a game together last year for the Giants. This was when the Giants got spanked by the Dodgers. Bumgarner pitched a scoreless inning with Posey behind the plate. Then Posey got his first major league hit the next inning.

For more insights from me on these two players. Go SF Giants Rumors! I have the scouting reports and more thoughts. These two guys will be part of our future, and lets get the future starting in 2010!
